The winter shearing session will produce Chunwang, and the number of vegetative branches will increase, which will affect the fruit setting rate. A large amount of summer shear will cause weak tree vigor. Therefore, pomegranate trees with weak tree vigor should be appropriately increased in winter shear, and Wangshu trees should be appropriately increased in summer shear.
Fourth, fewer short cuts. The pomegranate pruning is mainly based on thinning and slow release. It eliminates senescent dead branches, over-expensive branches, upright leggy branches, slow release oblique branches and diseased branches and branches, and only a few extension branches are cut short and the truncation is too easy. The tree vigor is excessively prosperous, which is not conducive to flowering and affects the yield per plant.
