When refueling, it must be strictly filtered. The oil in the oil pan should be replaced with No. 8 oil, the gear oil in the gearbox and the rear axle should be replaced with No. 20 gear oil. It is strictly forbidden that the lubricant in the governor casing exceeds the specified oil level to prevent the speed of the vehicle from being caused.
(3) Adjust the proportion of battery electrolyte. The specific gravity of the electrolyte was adjusted from 1.25 to 1.26 for summer use to 1.28 to 1.29. In the high-cold area, it can be adjusted to 1.30 to 1.31. It is necessary to conduct a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of the electric starting system.
(4) Heat the water to warm the body before starting the engine. Use the method of heating water while putting water on the side until the body drain valve flows out of warm water. Close the drain valve and use the crank to turn the crankshaft for dozens of turns so that all parts are full of oil and lubricated. It is forbidden to bake the engine with an open flame and start without cooling water. After the engine is started, it is necessary to extend the warm-up time and add a heat-insulating curtain before the radiator to ensure that the working water temperature reaches 80°C or more. Long-term work at low temperatures is not allowed.
(5) After parking at night, when the water temperature drops to 50°C, open the drain valve, place a net cooling water, and use a crank to crank the crankshaft several times until no water flows out. Do not close the drain switch. Some of the pilots were able to save time by leaving the locomotive open after the water switch was turned on, often resulting in an accident that caused the body to clog and the cooling water was not released, causing the body to freeze. There are also parking stalls that put water, causing the engine to cool and the body burst.
(6) Strictly abide by the use of operating procedures. Prepare skid chains, triangle mats and other anti-skid tools before leaving the car. When you are on a frosty road, drive slowly. When going uphill, use a gear that can go up to avoid midway shifts. When there is snow, you should pay attention to the edge of the curb. Don't take a risky drive.
