Business Club May 6th News China is an important exporter of hormonal APIs. According to statistics from China Customs, in 2011, the export volume of hormonal APIs was 212.39 tons, an increase of 3.21% year-on-year; the export amount was US$147 million, a year-on-year increase of 23.69%, showing a good momentum of growth.
I. Export situation to major countries and regions
China's hormonal APIs are mostly exported to Asia, Europe, Latin America and the European Union.
India, the United States, Mexico, Brazil and other countries and regions.
1. Exports to major regions: In the first quarter of 2011, China's hormonal APIs exported 59.958 million U.S. dollars to Asia, an increase of 32.43% year-on-year; exports to Europe stood at US$ 57.996 million, an increase of 20.62% over the same period of last year; and exports to North America reached US$ 15.972 million. , an increase of 18.08% over the same period (see Table 1).

Exports to major countries: In the first quarter of 2011, China's exports of hormonal APIs to India amounted to US$34,013,900, an increase of 36.71% year-on-year, and exports to EU countries amounted to US$4,924.9 thousand, an increase of 16.60% over the same period of last year; exports to the United States were US$14,138,400. An increase of 27.06% over the same period (see Table 2).
