"Drowning water" or "dumpling water" refers to leftover cooking water from hotels, restaurants, and schools. It's a low-cost, nutrient-rich byproduct that can be used as pig feed. However, it cannot be directly fed to pigs without proper treatment. Traditionally, this water was boiled, which is labor-intensive, time-consuming, and not efficient for long-term storage. The fermentation method offers a better solution.
Using a high-quality fermentation starter like Ginseng Glutinous Water Feed Starter can turn this waste into a safe and nutritious feed for pigs. Here’s how the process works:
1. **Fermentation Method**
Mix 40–50% of the drowning water with a fermentation agent called Gold Treasure Bait Water Fermenting Agent. Combine it with wheat bran, rice bran, and the drowning water in a ratio of 30%:30%:40%. If there's a lot of water, drain it first. Add the baby's water-fed starter at 2/1000, mix evenly, and ensure the moisture content is around 65%. To check if the moisture is right, squeeze the mixture in your hand—it should form a ball but not drip water. When released, it should crumble easily.
Transfer the mixture into a fermentation tank (small or large, such as a sink that can hold one or two tons). Seal it and let it ferment for 3–5 days. After each use, cover it again. This fermented material can be stored for more than six months without spoilage. When feeding, mix 20–60% of the fermented material with unfermented water (which must be boiled and disinfected) depending on the pig's size. You can also deworm pigs once a month.
2. **Benefits of Fermenting Drowning Water with Kimbo**
- **Eliminates the hassle of traditional boiling**: Cooking drowning water requires fuel, time, and effort. With fermentation, you avoid these issues and can feed pigs of all sizes.
- **Improves physical and chemical properties**: According to tests by Mr. Dai, fermented drowning water can safely feed 50-pound piglets without causing diarrhea. In contrast, unfermented water, even when cooked, is not suitable for pigs under 100 pounds. This reduces feeding costs significantly.
- **Replaces up to 80% of expensive feed ingredients**: Fermented drowning water can substitute for wheat bran, corn flour, and other costly feed components.
- **Long-term storage**: Fermented drowning water can be stored for over six months, making it a reliable feed source.
By using this fermentation method, farmers can turn what was once considered waste into a valuable resource, improving efficiency and reducing overall pig farming costs.
Blood Collection
In this category, you will find Blood collection tubes and compatible accessories for drawing blood with aspiration systems.
Collecting the blood with Vacuumed blood tube is a significant improvement over the traditional blood collection method. Because it is a complete closed system to complete the blood collection procedures, thus fundamentally ruled out the possibility of blood contamination and cross-infection. As its simple structure is very easy to use, it is very popular now. Of course, considering the cost and need, we also supply Non-Vacuumed Blood Collection Tube. Micro Blood collection tube serves to the blood examination which just need a little blood.
