The dissolved coal vapor is cooled by a high-efficiency glass condenser and recovered in a collecting bottle, thereby greatly improving the evaporation efficiency, and is particularly selected for the concentration and purification of biological products which are easily decomposed and degenerated by high temperature. The core technology of the rotary evaporator is the airtightness of the system, that is, whether the system can maintain a high vacuum under the action of various solvents.

1. What are the factors that affect the efficiency of the rotary evaporator?

For the same specification machine, there are mainly: steam temperature, vacuum and cooling water temperature. Due to the heat resistance of some materials, it is impossible to increase the steam temperature indefinitely during work. Therefore, high vacuum and low cooling water temperature are the two main factors for improving efficiency (optional cryopumps can be used to reduce water temperature).
