The industry and commerce department introduced that the production of compound fertilizers is a high-input and low-output industry. Due to the shortage of energy and the increase in prices of chemical products, the prices of compound raw materials such as urea, diammonium, and potassium fertilizers are relatively high. Some companies cut corners and cut materials, reducing the amount of raw materials added. The measured value of nutrients is lower than the label value of the package. In addition, the backward production process, resulting in fertilizer exceeding the water, product quality instability, a single nutrient, excessive chloride ion and so on. Some companies' products with chloride ion content ≥ 3.0% did not comply with the standard requirements and showed chlorine content on the product packaging, which played a misleading role in consumer choice.
