Endoscopic radiofrequency ablation and stent placement for unresectable biliary and pancreatic tumors in order to investigate the role of endoscopic radiofrequency ablation and stent placement in prolonging the biliary patency of patients with unresectable biliary and pancreatic tumors. A total of 58 patients were treated with combination therapy: 6 cases of duodenal papillary carcinoma were treated with local endoscopic nipple resection, then radiofrequency ablation of residual lesions; 52 cases of tumor stenosis were measured by ERCP, and the stenosis Radiofrequency ablation is performed and then the matching metal inner stent is placed. A total of 52 single-release metal stents were collected as a control group. RESULTS: In the combination treatment group, 3 patients died of severe biliary tract infection and systemic failure within 2 months after treatment. The remaining biliary tract patency was 9.2 months and the average survival time was 16 months. Forty-eight patients underwent re-endoscopic re-endoscopic treatment, 28 patients underwent radiofrequency ablation and 20 patients underwent radiofrequency ablation plus re-insertion. The patency period was extended by an average of 5.1 months. The biliary patency period of the single-release stent group was 6.1 months, and the average survival time was 13 months. It can be seen that radiofrequency ablation can prevent the local growth of the tumor, thereby prolonging the patency period of the inner stent and the survival of the patient. ---Midi Medical Network
