One, boron deficiency symptoms
Some symptoms of rapeseed can be observed in the boron deficiency seedling stage, but the obvious symptoms are from the late flowering stage to the fruiting stage, especially a large number of "flower but not real" phenomenon, or the petal is dry and shrinking, can not flower, serious reduction of production.
Boron deficiency usually occurs when the available boron in soil is less than 0.3 mg/kg.
The absorption of boron by rape increased with the birth process, and the absorption of the initial flower to harvest accounted for about 87% of the total. Therefore, most of the appearance symptoms of "flowers and flowers" often appear suddenly after full bloom.
The earlier the boron deficiency in soil, the more serious the impact on the growth and development of rape, so boron should be applied early, generally for the application of basal fertilizer.

Second, the application of boron fertilizer technology
The application methods of boron fertilizer include soil fertilization, foliar spray fertilizer and seed treatment.
1. Soil application Soil fertilization is generally used as base fertilizer, application and application, and boron fertilizer is added to nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to form a compound fertilizer and applied to the soil. Pure boron 0.7-1.5kg/hm2 (boron fertilizer sold by the Agricultural Resources Department 0.8-1 kg per mu).
2. The general concentration of foliar spraying is 0.1%-0.2%. The time of rapeseed spraying is selected at the seedling stage, bolting stage and flowering stage. The boron-deficient field should be sprayed 2-3 times as much as possible, each time interval 5- 7 days.
3. Seed treatment Use 0.1% borax solution or soaking for 6 hours or 1 kilogram of seed dressing with 4 grams of borax.
Third, remedial measures
In order to reduce rapeseed "flowers rather than real" and increase rapeseed yield, in the field where no borax is applied, the following remedial measures must be taken:
1. Apply 1 kg of borax per acre when applying rapeseed fertilizer, mix it with fertilizer;
2. For the first spraying at the seedling stage (or before the month of January), the second spraying should be performed when bolting 10-15cm in the spring, and the third time spraying 60-80% when the rape blossoms.
