The new hens in the spring brooding period are mostly in the fall autumn season from the beginning of production to the peak of egg production. Keep the following points in mind when raising animals:
Clever feeding. Adult chickens are fed 3 to 4 times a day. Early in the morning, they are fed early in the evening and fed late at night. The interval between feedings is extended and cannot be advanced or delayed. Adult chickens should be fed with about 120 grams of batch material each day to prevent them from falling short. After the start of production, each chicken should be replenished with about 50 grams of pellets per night, and each 100 chickens should be fed with 500-1000 grams of sand every week. No matter how caged or raised, the density should not be too high. Each chicken should occupy about 10 centimeters. In the morning, you should drink after drinking water, and drink warm water in the autumn. The amount of drinking water should not be less than 180 ml per day.
Small environment. Create a good microclimate environment for laying hens. The optimum temperature for laying hens is 15°C～25°C, and the relative humidity is 60%～65%. Too high or low temperature and humidity are not conducive to laying eggs. Large temperature difference in the fall, during the day to pay attention to cooling, night to keep warm and cold, at any time pay attention to adjust the temperature and humidity. Clean the inside and outside every day to remove the excrement and reduce the ammonia smell. Ventilate well and keep the air fresh. Pick eggs 3 to 4 times a day to reduce breakage.
Fill light. In the fall, the daily sunshine hours decrease. The initial lighting time for laying hens should be between 16 and 17 hours a day, especially for high-yield chickens. When natural light is insufficient, artificial supplemental lighting should be used. In the morning and at night, a 25-watt incandescent bulb can be installed within 15m2 to 25m2. The bulb is 1.5m to 2m above the ground.
Disease prevention. Maintain the hygiene and cleanliness inside and outside the house, regular disinfection, and prohibit the entry of miscellaneous personnel.
